Are these cams fixable?
I got some Gsr cams with some cam gears, the cams have rough demage from the cam caps being too tight here are some pics, are they worth fixing.. I plan on using them on my b16a. Only the intake one has the most demage.

They are only gsr cams. Don't put them in a perfectly good head and risk damage. Micro polish is for crank journals final finish not removing galled up aluminum and scratches

This is your only option. But its more expensive than its worth. Buy another set of GSR cams. These are worthless, unless you have a good hookup to get the regrind done.

I dont know man they are smooth but you can feel lines, the machinist said it should be ok he said those lines will help it oil better. Yay or Nah?
I really dont have money for some real cams right now.
Cams are pretty forgiving when it comes to journal damage. I'd use those, but it's just me. The cam I'm running now has some grooves, but it's not as bad as the one in the above pics.

With the price of undamaged GS-R cams being so low, why risk running these?

Not necessarily, no. However, if the remaining damage on the cams is sufficient, it could in turn cause damage to journals. With undamaged GS-R cams being available for less than $100, why chance using the damaged ones?
