Please HELP with cam identification...searched
Picked up a B16 head, stamped PR3-1. Looks like it was used for LSvtec as the bottom oil port is plugged.
Took the cams out, and look VERY similar to the 92-93 B17a pictures however, you can see the intake cam has an extra groove at the bottom of the shaft on top.
Can anyone tell me for sure what these cams are and years made?

if u read what iv posted carefully u should b able to figure out what u have, as long as the links still work. Some of those pics r wrong and i swear i had another thread that had some guy taking picks of all his personal cams too, which he pulled out of his stock motors. I think u have what i had which were 94+ gsr cams, i think i still have em at home i can take a look for ya when i get there
if u read what iv posted carefully u should b able to figure out what u have, as long as the links still work. Some of those pics r wrong and i swear i had another thread that had some guy taking picks of all his personal cams too, which he pulled out of his stock motors. I think u have what i had which were 94+ gsr cams, i think i still have em at home i can take a look for ya when i get there

Sooooo, 94+ GSR cams they are! Nice, was expecting B16 and going to change them out anyways. Thanks alot man! Wish that thread was easier to find....
I guess the weird thing is, the picture i posted above of the B17 exhaust cam does show the groove, however in your thread its mentioned the difference is the b17 exhaust cam DOES NOT have the groove.
