Theft prevention
Hey guys, after reading this forum over the last couple weeks I have realised how often some @#$# comes along and steals the cars that we have spent so much time and money to customise..
My question is what extents have you gone to to secure your cars I live in an apartment so I dont have the option to keep it in a garage. what kind of alarms exc do you use .. what works ... what dosent ?
PS how long do I have to stay a trial user ?

1) good alarm with a battery backup and multiple sirens.
2) kill switch, or multiple kill switches.
3) take somthing with you, like the ecu, or ecu fuse. (if you want, you can run another kill switch off the main power for the ecu)
4) deadbolt lock (yes, this is possible)
5) a big fuc*ing gun.

I'm not a thief, just a professional technician, and I can get around most every electrical "anti=theft" device you can come up with. The autolock seems it would be the best deterent to me. LoHack is a joke, I can find one and "relieve it from its duties" in 15 mins tops. Most alarms are wired after the fuse box, so if you have a jumper wire you can hot wire it. I cant imagine some thief busting out his plasma cutter for your Honda.
