Texting a alternator

Um as i posted before, my car doesnt have any spark, im thinking it could be my alternator, is there anyway i can test it? I have a d15 94 civic sedan

Check ignitor. Once you start the car disconnect the neg terminal from battery, if it keeps running alternator is good.

Um, 1, how do i check my ignitor, 2. my car wont start due to not having any spark (:

Ok, weren't you just reprimanded in another thread for telling people to use this rather ECU-risky method of testing your alternator...
