Tein pillowball mounts... two different types? Help!
So I ordered a set of Tein Pillow Ball mounts for my DA with the intention of using them to adjust my camber. The directions are "JDM" but looking at them right now I don't see how they could possibly adjust anything. It says they are TYPE RS, and on Teins website there is a diagram that shows a TYPE AP - which does look adjustable. Does RS = non-adjustable, and AP=adjustable? Or is there some super secret way you can adjust the RS's I have sitting in my garage right now? TIA!
You can only adjust the camber using the camber plates on the pillowball mounts if the suspension design allows for it.
Older (pre-circa '01) double wishbone Honda suspensions don't allow for those adjustments. MacPherson strut type suspensions will allow for the the use of the adj camber plates.
