Default tech question about injectors

on my swap i have a b16 with ITR manifold and it has gsr fuel rail i think with prelude injectors. but my friend tells me that the prelude injectors need a resistor to work and the b16 doesnt have one? is that right? How would i identify if its a prelude injector any special markings?

thanks

here is a bad pic of the injector i have what car injector is this?

http://www.imagestation.com/pi...8.jpg
it has 4 yellow dots on side
i have a 1994 civic cx

i did some more research and i think i can use 97-2001 lude injectors on my car without resistor box is this correct?? would my car not start if i didnt have the resistor box.. what would happen if i ran the car without resistor box if these were previuos generation prelude injectors?

rc engineering said that i would be able to use pre 97 lude injectors but it would make my ecu run hot.. withou resistor box..

but the 5th gen lude injectors would be fine without reisistor box. i dont think i have the 5th gen injectors though.

get an ohmmeter and check resistance of an injector. If it's like 6 ohms you need a resistor pack. If it's around 16 ohms you're fine (I forget the exact values but I know that's close as the resistor pack is a 10 ohm resistance)

running the low resistance injectors without the resistor pack can fry your ecu

yeah rc eng said higher than 11 is okk, 2-3 means you need a resistor box. ohms that is
how do i check ohms using an ohm meter never used one
