tec 3 or hondata?
have any of you guys had any experience with either of these engine management systems? I have heard good things about the tec 2 and 3 by sport compact car. But I see a lot of people in these forums using hondata. What do you guys think is the better system. Thanks in advance
With the TEC system you have to run a crank trigger.
I have only seen crank trigger wheels that run the Alternator ONLY.
If you wanted to keep AC and PS then it probably wouldnt happen.

I can't find it now, but I recently saw an electromotive dealer on the web who had a honda trigger wheel setup that mounted where the distributer is and reads from the cam. probably not as accurate as from the crank, but at least as good as the stock distributer and a hell of a lot easier than custom fabbing a trigger wheel to the crank.
If someone has links to dealers with honda trigger wheel mounting setups please post them.
