Default Taking off E-Brake Handle

Does anyone know how to take off the E-Brake top handle. I have a 95 civic.

are you talking about the grip? if you are it just slides off with a little force.

try twisting it back and forth as you push forward, you may have to eat a bowl of wheaties first.

yeah, mine was a pita in my 99 si, I ended up just cutting the bastard off with a blade.

yeah, those handles are a BITCH!!!

most of the time you can twist it back and forth with a lot of force...
eventually it'll start to give and slowly come off...

other times, you gotta cut part or all of it off...

you said you cut it off.... how did the new one fit and what kinda was it.... i don't wanna cut mine off really since i don't know how the new one will look
