Default tachometer install

question for you folks. i recently bought an autometer tach to put in my car. but after i decided to put it in, i found that my car doesnt utilize a distibutor(toyota piece!!!) can anyone tell me where to hook it up? or any wires that would be a tach return from the engine, cause i dont even have a tach in the cluster (enter the reason why i bought a tach). thanks for all the help.

check out the apexi website. if you goto their wiring diagrams for the safc and find your model, it should tell you the wire thats for the rpms, tap it into that.

i dont think they have it for a Tercel. Not too many of those being hopped up in Japan. I would go to a toyota dealer and make them give U a pinout. Dont leave until you get it.
