Default tachometer hesitation

my factory tachometer will hesitate when i get on the gas hard but it will not hesitate when i'm smooth on the gas. i thought it could be a need for more gas but the car does not hesitate. it pulls whether i slam the thottle or not. i'm thinking it might be an electrical problem. any suggestons? i forgot to mention that i have an msd ignition w/an external coil.

Is the tach a factory tach or a autometer tach? Usually, the factory tachs after awhile or when doing a swap tend to jump alittle. I notice this on my car. I have a autometer gauge aswell, that's alot more accurate.
