I have a 92 cx, I sold my old motor JDM B16 to get a ITR swap. I put the new swap in and the car runs fine, no problems at all except the tach wont work. I have a Canadian gauge cluster with the 8000 redline. I dont know if the gauge cluster is the problem or if the ITR wire harriness i used is the problem.

 

Have you tried running a line directly to your ecu (at the corresponding pin for tach input) and another to the correct wire on the gauge cluster?

 

i ran wire from behind the dash.....to a blue wire on the distributor

gauge works fine now

93 dx with b16a....cx cluster

I think you need boost
