i own a 93 del sol si.. it has the d16z6 in it, when ever i hit 3500 to 4000 rpms my tach goes all crazy i dunno what it is.. somtimes the car itself will start to hesitate also.. i was thinkin the crank angle sensor, but i am not sure.. anyone want to help me

how do i got about fixing this?? do i have to replace the distributor or no??
