Default t-belt question



Hey guys, sorry for the bad pic, but in the red area there is a little gap between the belt and gear. is this safe? I cannot tighten the tensioner anymore

If you don't feel safe with it loosen the tens bolt and turn the engine a couple times and the tighten the bolt back up and you should be fine.

do you guys ever have any slack there?
When i start turning the motor by hand it gets a little space there right before it spins, then goes away after its moving.

anyone have a picture of the amount of normal slack when rotating the motor?

Its fine I noticed it on my b16 also right before the intake cam gear
