synthetic blend worth it?
Is synthetic blend worth the upgrade over regualr oil? I dont want to go fully synthetic since my car has high mileage and im afraid developing oil leaks. I drive my car pretty hard and change the oil regularly.

Re: synthetic blend worth it? (m0neynh0s)
There seem to be two camps on this one. Some people swear by synthetics, while others claim they're not worth the difference in price. What's particularly interesting is that both sides refer to the SAME DATA to reach their different conclusions. Both acknowledge that synthetics are superior. But since even conventional crude-based oils have some synthetic content, the question remains, "How much better?"
It's almost like asking, "Who's right? The Democrats or the Republicans?"
