i just found out today, i was cruising 140km/h in 4th gear then i changed it to 5th
and somehow i heard the gearbox made sound like " krekkkkkk "
first time i thought i didnt put it to 5th properlly ( i mean just like half in )
then i tried again for 3 times and it made that noise
only happened when i changed gear from 4th -> 5th , the rest is fine
i just dont get it , why only happened from 4th to 5th
i never to used 5th gear to race but this actually the one dat stuffed
will be expensive to fixed the synchro ??
help me guys please.

you'll need to change the 5th gear syncro eventually. i have the same problem with my trans. it'll cost maybe 4-5 hundred dollars ($ which i dont have). i would suggest to change the trans fluid, and when you shift into 5th gear, don't do it right away. press the clutch; take it out of gear; waite one second; then shift into 5th.
