Symptoms of a bad halfshaft?????
need to know what the symptoms of a bad halfshaft would be
is there a way to tell my moving it ? looking at it ? or what.

Basically, the half shaft has 2 CV joints. The outer may click if worn when the steering is turned full lock to one side while the car moves. The inners may cause a vibration during acceleration if they are worn. The boots, if torn, are a sure sign of dirt contamination and possible furure failure. There is some play in the joints, so unless you are very familiar with them, it would be difficult to diagnose their condition by moving them by hand.

Well.. As far as i know, there isnt much that can wear out on it, Except the bearing on the end, which i doubt you could really inspect it too well installed on the veichle.
