Default Swaybar clearance

Just installed ST front and rear sway bars went on pretty easy but when I started the car I heard this horrible rattling sound look it over and the front bar is hitting against my cat (carsound 2.5)!!!! What can I do to get another 1/2 inch or so of clearance? Or is there anything at all I can do? Will this hurt anything? All feedback greatly appreciated.

i would wrap the bar that is touching the cat with something that can withstand a lot of heat...like maybe header wrap or something like that. just an idea.

with a little cushion? only thing i can think of is the stuff you use to wrap pipes around a house, the foam stuff. but i think the heat might be too much for it. you could try using the pipe wrap stuff, then wrap the header wrap around that, and see if that works.
