Default piston rings... what are the best?

I have a b16a i plan to use for a road coarse motor, currently it has low compression in the #4 cylinder. i know that it is the piston rings, and i need to know what people recommend using in a motor that will be run at high rpm for a long period of time. right now i am considering beck arnley, trw, true seal, and stock honda.
your help would be geatly appreciated.

I've heard nasty things about total seal. NOw I'm not an expert, but I've never heard of them compared in a positive light in the same sentance as OEM rings.

Eh, it depends on who ya talk to. A/C VW guys swear by them, Honda guys hate them, and boosted Nissan guys like them.

I've never heard anything BAD about them, but there's different theories as to what you want in a piston ring, and the Total Seal ring doesn't do best in some of those theories.

well thanks for the help guys it looks like i am gonna go with the oem i should be tearing into the motor by the end of the week we shall see how it goes. also what do you guys think it would be a good idea to put some type r pistons in since it will all be apart? also i was thinking about relapping the valves and doing valve seals since it is apart is it a good idea and worth the time or not? i am most likely gonna get the head checked for straight. can anyone think of any other things that might be good to do while it is apart? before i got the motor it was run with a turbo, and i believe that that is why the rings blew.

Hastings rings are a good choice, they use a special Flex-Vent oil ring. I would go with OEM or Hastings.
