Swap wiring help please!!!

Ok, i have a 1996 del sol
and I just got my b16a2 to throw in ther
yes, i knwo the car is obd2, and so is the new motor
my question is...can I plug the ecu from the b16a directly into my wiring harness for the d16y8 sohc vtec motor???

or is a tonne of splicing required???

just use your wiring harness from your motor

ok what he means is unplug the harness frokm all the sensors off the stock motor and put them on the new one.

the wiring harness from the b16a?
which is from jdm right hand drive engine
and useless to me?

you will have to pin in or cut and solder in the vtec selonoid, knock sensor vtec oil pressure and then your good unl;ess you have a d16y8 in it then all you have to do is add a wire for the knock sensor to the ecu
