Default suspension question....

If I use a firmer spring should I adjust the shock to do more damping (firmer) or less damping?

I don't have anything installed yet but I want to get an idea of how this works.

Default Re: suspension question.... (Loco Honkey)

The reason i'm asking this is because my ride (still stock 01 acura el = civic ex) has a very bouncy suspension....especially at the back. I'm thinking the stock shocks don't have enough bound/rebound damping. I wanna put in a set of eibach pro-kit and see if the firmer spring works well with a soft damping shock.

The worst thing is that no shock is available for my car yet and I don't want to spend too much money to fix the carsick ride.
