Default coilover question

ok so my coilovers are as low as they can go and the spring is all the way down has no preload
my question is to raise it for more ahock travel would you raise it by the spring or by the shock
what would the difference be and what would give more shock travel

also another question.. im trying to adjust the ride height by the shock on the bottom with the spring all the way down.. i moved the shock down like an inch, then i drop the spring back down and when i put the wheel back on its at the same ride height.. i dont understand this and now when i jack the back up that wheel is lower then the other side when raised in the air.. suspension is so confusing

It must suck to have paid so much money for suspension and not have it work out all for a useless trend.

Just think about your original question and apply some critical thinking. The answer is punching you in the face.

because you have been riding around on the bumpstops, not the springs. keep cranking it up

this.

it's no wonder so many houses are burnt down each year by someone simply trying to use the microwave.

its weird with everything all the way down.. i adjusted the ride height by raising the spring up a little and leaving the shock all the way up.. i tried adjusting it by lowering the shock but it was staying the same height.. i couldnt figure it out so i just raised it up by the spring..
