i posted this in the other honda/acura vehicules section but no one replied

since i bought my tokico hp shocks and G-force coilover, i have been noticing a clinging noise when im on uneven roads. it bugs me and i cant get rid of it.
i have 1.6 EL

 

did you install the coilovers correctly?

for example w/my Ground Controls there is a rubber slab that you wrap around the shock, it goes in btwn the threaded body and the shock to accomidate for the difference in diameter, it is there to keep the threaded body from shifting, and claning against the shock...that may be what the clanging noise is.

 

no i did install the rubber rings around the shocks.
it sounds more like its comming from the top plate of the coil

 

turn the spring untill it feels like its sitting solid on the perch.
