suspension mods: 96-97 4lug itr swap w/ tein ss set up!

i bought them about 5 months ago put them on the car adjust damper to 16...they felt kinda soft but were ok cuz i got hooked up...this weekend i put a type r motor in my car and they are bouncing all over the place...does this coilover set up straight up suck or can anyone think of something that might be wrong...i dont see how they can be blown becuz i hardly drive the car ...im very unhappy that i even wasted money on this....any one got any ideas?
