Default suspension

i want to put coilovers on my car but if i leave the stock springs on will they wear out fast, and how long if there was an estimated time

i think you meant to say stock SHOCKS (its cool, we all make mistakes). anyway, as a rule of thumb, if you lower your car you should also replace the shocks. the ride will be much much better. i can't give you an exact time frame for how long stock shocks will last but they will blow out soon and you will regret having to take the suspension apart again to put in new shocks. if you don't have the money right now, then save it up and do it right the first time. i made the mistake of keeping my stock shocks on and the ride absolutely sucked! good luck.

...you will regret having to take the suspension apart again to put in new shocks. if you don't have the money right now, then save it up and do it right the first time.

Ditto, wait and get the whole package at once. You will not regret waiting once you get the new shocks but if you spend the money and keep the stock shocks you may be disapointed with the ride. Don't underestimate the shock. A good shock is needed with new springs to get the most out of the new setup.
