the lazy tossers!
you NEED a genuine honda idle screw - goto a wrecker or junk yard(whatever you guys call 'em) and see if you can pilfer one from them...
you may need to buy a damaged/trashed throttle body just for the screw...
good luck, you'll get there soon.

Aright, finally after calling Honda 3 times I got pices going 130, 172, and 67.
Luckily when I drove up it turned out to be the 67.
Also when I was there they decided they did have the idle screw at 6$
So in a coupel days when it comes in well see if its good.
Thanks for all the help.

just to give you guys an update i tried installing two more different IAC's and it still does it...
i am now considering taking it to honda and paying the $70 diagnostic fee and then fixing it myself.

Heres a little gem I read every month....don't know if anyone else reads this site:
http://motor.com/
Your gonna want to go to the "Back Issues" section. From there, go to "April 2000". In this edition, there is a column called "Foreign Service" which details an article about the FITV - Fast Idle Thermo Valve.
Theres also a lot of other good info pertaining to general car repair....maybe you guys might find the info useful...I do.

Lemme get this straight....you were using a part that wasn't for your car? I'm glad you fixed the problem...but the next time you come back asking for help...I know the first Q I'm asking you.
here's the thing...my friend went and got the gasket from honda while i was at work and he made a mistake and ordered the del sol si part....i never saw any info on what he ordered. i just put it on and everything seemed to line up just fine, but i was thinking about a couple of days ago and asked what car the gasket was from...del sol si. i needed the del sol vtec so i went and got a new one and it runs fine now
. it was all just a big misunderstanding....i'm just glad it's fixed
