I am currently having B16B. To further increase the H/P is it advisable and reliable to change the block to CRV 2.0? I would prefer not to have a major modification. If someone experience could advise what else can be improved would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Currently modified:
1. Sport Clutch
2. Air Intake System
3. Exhaust system 2.5 inches.

 

You would increase torque output, but not necessarily power output. It really depends upon what you're trying to do, and what's available for you. I would save the money on the block and concentrate on better engine management and mapping before going into engine block swap-outs. Have a plan and purpose of the car as well.

 

I would do a b20 block and have a machine shop put in some 84.5 YCP pistons and run arp rod bolts. install your head and get proper engine management/tune.
