Default Engine building guru's... Need your advice.

Here's the deal.

I have a rotrex supercharger, it's a C30-94. I understand all the math about pulley sizing and such, and how to get the most out of the blower, without over-spinning it.

That's the easy part.

The hard part is figuring out what block I want to Frankenstein this supercharger onto.
It's designed for engine sizes 2.0 and up.
I've seen it used on a build type-r block (b18c6), 9.8:1 81.5mm pistons, eagle rods, arp headstuds, put down just shy of 290hp.

I'd love to make more power than that. Since I'm working at the limit of the blower, at 10psi or so- I figure 1 of 2 things has to happen:
1- Higher Compression
2- Bigger Displacement


What is the most reliable way to get more displacement?

Assuming I have a b16 head... should I go straight for the b20 block, or go with the gsr and stroke it, or what-

I have no idea what to do.
Anyone care to offer advice?

I don't know enough about the actual rod/stroke ratios of the various bottom ends... but you'd definately be better off with more displacement then higher compression... unless you have some method of heat reduction to the intake/charge air. Meth injection or a very efficient after cooler... high compression and s/c and high rpm can be a pretty ugly combination.

I'm no expert though so lets see what some others have to say.

Even if you bore and stroke it to 2.0L you wont gain that much. Look into water/meth injection or possibly nitrous

They make a 2.2 stroker kit for the type r motor, wouldn't be a good daily though.

Is this your current setup?
This setup should see about 340-360hp, the cause is probably bad tuning and and high restriction in the exhaustpipe, ther is possible high inlet temp due to bad intercooling.

Put in nasty cams and tuned cametiming and you will easy brake 400hp.

To do a 2.2L stroker u would have to bore it and get a block extention to stroke it that 95mm. Also to get it a 2.0L u would have to bore it to 84mm so then u should really sleeve it. I would bore it to 82.5mm and stroke it to 89mm and call it good.
