Boosted LS motor. Just replaced Spark Plugs properly gapped. Wires replaced bouit 200 miles ago maybe 300/400. Could it be Cap and Rotor, or Distributor? It just happened all of the sudden when I was goofin around by a warehouse.

The stuttering or w/e it is only happens when I am trying to cruise or remain at a steady speed. So throuttle is prolly at 15-20%. When you are slow down or accelerating its fine, only when u trying to remain at a constant speed does it do it, which is weird cause I have heard of it happening accelerating alot.

 

i mean, i would just start by the obvious and change the cap and rotor; if that dont fix ; we'll go from there.
timing?just check it, but i dont see how it would change itself unless the rotor got loose inside the cap

 

Yea I guess it wouldn't hurt... except its $30. But it hasn't been changed in a while. So its prolly bout that time. I let ya know in couple hours if it worked or not.

 

Just put a new cap and rotor on and it didn't help the problem really. any more suggestions.

 

still have this problem? i got a ls turbo too and its doin the same exact thing
