94 Civic automatic harness, convert to manual?
I have a 1994 Civic EX and it seems a shame to throw the harness away, so I want to convert it. I think I have an idea what I need to do, I'm just making sure.
The IACV needs to be rewired.
A switch for the reverse light for the transmission has to be added.
Other than that, a knock sensor and IAB wiring is optional.
Is there anything else?

Its identical to the 5 speed harness. Its the cabin harness that differs in '92 - '95 Civics. Check honda for yourself if you don't believe me, part numbers are identical. All OBD1 civics used a two wire IACV btw, and the backup light wiring is used for the automatic transmission solenoids, same plug, wire colors and pinouts though, hence the harnesses being the same.
I converted a 94 civic dx coupe from auto to standard a long time ago, I dont remember changing anything electronical but the ecu.
i also did tuning on my civic a while back. had it converted to standard. this time i am planning to get a bit more power in it by adding a turbo. i hope i would be able to maintain my 94 civic with almost the same budget as previously.planning to get a paint job on it too. would be posting the pics soon.
