i went to the track the other night and when i was comming home i did a nice burn out for my friends and then my cart stalled out and it doesnt start i thought i fouled out the plugs changed those didnt work so i ttok off the cap and the poor rotor was mangled into pieces don't know what caused this but that thing was broken badley there were pieces of plastic just sitting in the cap and it fucked up my distribtor so does anyone know wherte i could get one for a decent cost ? and does anybody know why my rotor was so messed up because i took it to park acura and they said they have never seen anything like that before.... oh yeah i also replaced the cap and rotor and still nothing?????clue less

 

the same thing happened to my rotor. i took of the distributor cap and the rotor was shot. there were pieces everywhere. what i had noticed was the small screw that held the rotor on had wiggled loose and while spinning that fast it shot out and broke everything inside of the cap. i just replaced the cap and rotor and the car runs great again, but maybe your accident caused more damage. im not sure?
