Default STUPID QUESTION BUT IT NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED

i just took off my intake manifold slapping on a skunk2 manifold everything went great except the part of taking out my gasket its caked on my motor so its a bitch to take out i been scrapping at it and so far i havent gotten anywhere any tips or suggestion on what to do?

only suggestion i have is to keep scraping the f*** outta it, cuz it took me about 2 hours to get the whole thing off. i did it the hard way, if anyone has any other ways let me know as well.

i had the same problem when i got my jdm gsr intake mani. i just scraped and scraped and scraped....

Buy a proper Gasket scraping tool, Makes it easy when you press hard enough while scraping

Thats about the only way. I just did mine a few months ago NOT FUN!!! Theres some stuff you can spray on it to help, kinda eats it away.

well just got up so on my way to scrapping tha poop out of it thanks guys im actually using googone it sorta helps but not really and a metal scrapper so thanks HT

i used a grinding tool (i think that's what it is, it's the rock thing) and just took my time so i didnt go too far or leave un even surfaces. u've gotta be pretty controlled to use it.
