Stud Problem
Just installed all but one of my ARP head studs and the stud on the far left intake side won't go down all the way. It's a d15b7 by the way.
I was thinking about taping it just to clean the threads, but I don't know why it won't go all the way?

Update: Bought a tap and tapped out the thread, still it doesn't go. It has about 1/2" more but it won't budge. This is really pissing me off, do you think I could get by with using one oem headstud from when I tore it apart the first time?
You didn't torque them down all the way as you set them in did you?
With head bolts, you want to line up the head, set ALL the bolts in their holes, tighten down to snug then torque the bolts to 1/3 of their torque specs (starting in the center and working in a "Z" pattern accross the head). Then do the same to about 2/3 of the torque specs, and finally the same pattern to the full torque spec.
This draws the head down evenly; if you torque each bolt down separately then it won't draw down right and you could very well not have matching bolt holes.
