Stuck with super positive camber please help
I was getting a routine spring install complete on an EP3. Everything is in place, but I cant seem to attach the pinch bolts through the knuckle onto the bottom the damper. This won't work because for some reason I cant manuever the wheel hub's camber whatsoever, it is stuck. It feels like the axle has no play or something, im completely stumped. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
Here are some pictures. If you see my hand on it, that means Im trying to push it up, and that's as far as it will go, thanks for looking.

I thought that too, is this common when dissasembling the suspension? And is there a quick and easy fix or am I sorta screwed... and thanks for the reply btw, doing this for a friends birthday and the downtime on the car is really sucking...

Acutally I dont think the axle cameout of the tranny. I'm pretty sure the CV joint got dislodged in the hub and is now stuck. If this is the poblem you'll need to remove the axle and rebuild the side that got dislodged. What angle was the axle at when it got stuck?
You can see its angle in the pics, I would say like 15 degrees. So if it is either the CV joint, or the axle popped out, what is the best way to find out and fix the problem?
One other thing: this is happening in the same manner on BOTH sides. I don't think I did anything drastic like really yank the hubs down when swapping the springs, so is this a common occurence because it doesn't sound like it yet it is on both sides...
Ok where the axle meets the tranny, there is a small gap about a nickel thick, does that constitute as the axles being out, then whats next?
Also, on both sides the boots closest to the hub are fine but the ones close to the tranny are really stretched out, so I think the problem lies close to the tranny than the hub, but I cant seem to "pop" them back in...

Alright I went back down to see if I could manipulate the axle to "push" it back into place, without luck. However, I see that now when I push it to its restriction, there is play within the gap where the axle meets the tranny, so if the axles really did "pop out" how do I get them back in?
Thanks
Thanks
use the hub to kinda hammer the axle in, but dont pull to hard as to rip the boot. sometimes i have to get out the 5lb sledge too, but dont hit it too hard either.
hybridvteceg is a god! I simply just kicked it forward alot really hard, turned the splines a bit, now it is free as a bird, FINALLY!
Thanks alot everybody, I told my brother I knew the solution was gonna be something simple and it was in the end
