Have a machine shop re-tap the hole.

I've used heli-coils for stripped head bolts without any problems.

dude i started all of the studs by hand and snugged them , then torqued them down in sequence at 22lbs from the center to the outside. then i repeated the same step and torqued them down to 61lbs. i drove the car for a couple of days and wondered why the car kept heating up!. I figured i must of had a clogged hose or radiator so i flushed the radiator and replaced the hoses. then jacked it up high in the frt and let it run and berp for a while. then i took it around the corner and i got on it kinda hard and then the temprature shot to the red like a tach. I really new something was wrong after that. so after i got the car back up on the jack stands i took the cams and belt off went to loosening up the head bolts and the top 3 on the intake side were already loose . i could turn them by hand and i was like WTF i tried to torque them down and nothing they kept spinning. well at least when i have the inserts in i won't have to worry about the head lifting and me blowing a headgasket.
