Default Stripped headbolt holes

So I was having a problem with leaking out of the left side of the head under the distributor, 500 miles after i rebuilt this motor, (gsr block b16 head)... I used oil on the headbolts like the service manual says, torqued them in sequence to 22, then following in sequence to 61 pounds, they seemed absolutely fine at the time of assembly. So 500 miles later oil spews out the left side of my motor, I thought something to be wrong with the headgasket, so I tore it apart yesterday and found the 4th and 5th headbolts on the intake side are stripped out.... I bought helicoil and tried to use that method, when to screw them back in to find strippedness once again even with helicoil, does anyone know what I can do ? please help!

timeserts...you can get them done at a machine shop, what headbolts did you use? i hope gsr studs because the b16 studs are 9mm shorter than the gsr ones. are you sure you did the helicoils right? i just recently did this on the same set-up and done right they worked fine. although i had 5 threads stripped.

yea dude i hope you did use the GSR bolts cause they are much longer than the b16 studs. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but if the head stud holes are stripped and it stripped again with heli-coil the block may be trash. Your only other hope is to use a larger bolt and tap it out accordingly but I don't know how reliable this would be. Good luck man that really sucks!!!!!
