Default stretched axle

i did a search and found nothing. i removed my drivers side axle and accidentally pulled the tripod part out of housing and now it won't go back in. this happend before and i just spun it and it went back in, but it won't go this time, anybody have any solutions other than buying a new one. the boot is all stretched out now too

You have 3 options

1. Wiggle around for a while and hopefully it will pop back into place.

2. take off boot to reassemble joint

3. buy a new unit.

Good luck

take the boot out and take your time to place them in there.
try swapping the bearings around since sometimes they wont go in unless it goes in the same spot it came from.
