Default strange vibration

I have a turbocharged integra. Engine is stock.
When I have rev my engine and let go of the throttle, I get a shuddering and vibration. I can feel it transmitted into my turbo housing. Its not the turbo since it is not spooling up with just reving the car at rest and the car drives and accelerates just fine.

Any ideas of how to narrow down what is causing it? Anyone have something like this with their car?

thanks

ttt

I was looking at my timing belt and although I put a new one in last spring (along with a new water pump) it looks aweful loose. there are no specs on how much play there is supposed to be, only about adjusting it in the helms manual. Can that be causing a vibration at like 2200RPM?

Check your engine and tranny mounts, they might be in bad shape letting the engine vibration translate to other parts of the car.

There should be 1/4" inch deflection on timing belt when installed "NEW", I do not know how much it deflects thereafter ???

Yeah, I agree Helms manual should also have a deflection chart of some sort for some of the used belts.

do is that deflection supposed to be on the long side of the timing belt in the front of the engine? Is that after you crank on the crankshaft pulley to pull it taught? if you crank the other way, it loosens up.
