STR issues
Hey all,
I have a 68 mm STR that I just put on my b18c1 block/b16ahead/JDM b16a intake. I have noticed that when pushing the gas pedal it feels like the butterfly is sticking inside the bore of the throttle body. I adjusted the stop on it and while I had it off I made a hole in the gasket for the IAC valve to breathe through. Since then, the sticking has gone away, the idle has gone nuts ( fluctuates like it has low coolant....i.e. 1k to 2k back and forth after spirited driving). Has anyone had any issues with STR throttle bodies? Should I have left the gasket so the IAC can't breathe through it? Am I an idiot?
BTW, does anyone know how to get in touch with STR directly?
