Anyone running 68mm Holley Throttle body in their B18c1?
I am having a leak at the idle control port on my skunk manifold...Was wondering what to do to resolve this.

I used the paper gasket that came with that throttle body. I followed the instruction by outlining the gasket onto the intake manifold and port it to 68mm.

**You have to be absolutely sure that the little passageways in the throttle body aren't contaminated, so i suggest u clean them with crazy carb cleaner before u start.. Don't use the carb cleaner as a flamethrower without proper supervision of a couple friends..**
i'm assuming you are throwing a code for this, or your idle is insanely low for no reason, and someone told u this is the problem.. Either way, u should be idling at like 500rpms.. Disconnect the IAC valve connector while the car is running.. If nothing happens, replace the IAC valve.. If the rpms drop more or the car dies, then continue, because the only hardware that can cause this is the IAC or Fast Idle Thermo valve..
Next, while the car is idling, put your finger over the hole that u can see inside the tb, on the left.. If the rpms drop, replace your fast idle thermo valve..
If it stays the same, you'll have to get ahold of me, and i'll help u out.. mail me

Re: Anyone running 68mm Holley Throttle body in their B18c1? (HKxBlur)
Not having problems with car throwing any codes. The intructions from Holley wanted me to tig weld the Idle control air port and redrill it to the outline of the gasket. Basically the wall between that idle port and the main port is only 2 mm thick, and I am afraid the gasket is not making the proper seal. The reason why I know, there is a LOUD hissing sound. I traced it by taking the whole throttle body out and block the main intake port complete while partiall blocking the idle control port with my finger, the sound went away. Was trying to find out if anyone have the same problem..
