Default still prob with chipped ecu

ok now i cut the j1 jumper, but now i still get the same prob of 4k rev limit and check engine light. it is possible for me to re solder the ecu and get it to work?
and on the bottom side it looks like crap, the j1 jumper soldered together on the back so should i just move it were they are not touchin? thanks

Start from the top.. What ecu is this, Auto or manual, The low rev limit could be either its in limp mode or its hitting a cold rev limit.. Who chipped the ecu and what else did they do to it..

p28 manual yeah i chipped it (shouldn't have) and i think it's in limp mode. that's what i was told last night. then i was told to correct it to norm cut j1 jumper. i did and that didn't help.

Thats my guess.. I would look for another p28 and try to find a chipped one or get a pro to chip it.. Might want to try desoldering the socket and try it with j1 cut..

take some nice clear pictures of your ecu if you can, and post 'em. Some of us are ecu reprogrammers (like me) and can look at your work and see if you F'd something up or not.
