steering has play only turning to the left. HELP!!
Steering to the right is tight and responsive... but to the left is loose and slow to respond. My mechanic said that my tie rods didn't have any play in them. Any ideas what the problem could be?? Would a steering rack guide adjustment help?? Could it be the bushing on the passenger side of the steering rack?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the rack end bushing, yes, but you would probably notice shaking or a looseness in the wheel while driving.

Is there anyone in the socal area that can do a steering rack guide adjustment for me and replace the rack end bushing? Acura dealer wants to charge me $100 just for the rack guide adjustment.
power steering racks dont have rack end bushings. only manual racks do. power steering has a bunch of different seals that act as bushings.
i wouldnt hurt to tighten your pinion gear.
it also wouldnt hurt to check it out yourself.
