ive got a serious problem with my car and i don't know what it could be..or where to start on fixing it. My car isn't starting anymore (like it doesn't give any fuel nor power to the engine--and for some reason--my radiator fan goes off!) i look at the cluster and i see all the lights are fine on standbye mode--but the engine light and the battery light are dimm. I changed the wiring harness from the motor to the ecu..changed the ecu..changed the ignition..checked fuses..bought new starter..and still no clue.

when i turn the ignition all the way it doesn't even choke--like theres no power at all. what could be the problem? or what can i do to get this fixed and get my street hatch back on the road? thanks

 

Have you had the battery tested? And you did check ALL the fuses. What about you furl pump have you checked it out?

 

yea..i checked the battery-it was dying out so i replaced it with a new one. i had all the fuses checked by my friend who was a mechanic and he said all the fuses were fine.

 

the fuel pump's good because i replaced it with a friend's fuel pump..i took his walbro fuel pump because i went turbo.

is there anything else i should check?

 

main relay could be ur problem
now when u try to start the car does it make a click when u turn the ignition or no sound at all? have u tested ur battery to see if it is still good? have u tried to jump start the car?: have u tried popping the clutch?

 

check your battery cable terminals and wires for loose connections or corrosion. Also check the cable running to the starter.
