Default starting problems.

car: 92 civic cx
engine: 92 b17

well, the swap was in for liek 3 weeks, everything went fine...today, the car doesnt turn over, we checked the starter, its fine. we checked the battery, thats fine. we checked to see if it was the clutch switch(no voltage at starter w/o pressing clutch, 12.xx voltage when clutch is pressed, thats correct right?) we tried applying direct current to the starter(wire from positive to both starter plugs), still doesnt turn over, anyone have any ideas? we were able to push start it and it ran

if your solenoid is stuck open, the armature won't move into postion and the starter motor won't get power.

You may want to check your ground cable from the tranny to the frame. Believe it or not one day my ground cable decided to not work and it kept my car from starting for like a week...hehe. I had to totally change the point at which the cable grounded to the frame ( was connected to the underside of the battery tray, then i had to move it where the battery grounded to ). It was very weird.
