Should be no problem. I have a 98 GSR starter on my 1st gen b16 motor and now my CRVTEC motor.

im pretty sure my b17a's starter is different from a b18c starter, b/c my starter went out and i tried using a starter from a b18c and it wouldn't work, i had to use one from a b18a1.
