ok heres the deal, i have a 94 ex stock coupe, with a 1.6 vtec, and im about to purchase a stage 3 cam from a friend, and was curious to weather or not the stock engine can handle it?

 

who's the manufacturer? judging by the name "stage 3" it sounds like a race only cam and would be bad for your stock motor.

 

Is this a stock ex single cam 1.6 vtec or a b16? Either way any stock head can not handle a typical "stage 3" cam.

 

its a d16 single came v-tec, anyways he has a head to im not sure what kind of cam it is he isnt sure, he said he bought it from guy who had the same engine and he was about to turbo his so he got a dif cam, and gave him a head and cam for 200 bucks, he said that guy was japanese, this guy is a good friend so i dont think he would lie, but i will try ad find out what kinda cam it is ima look at it tomarrow so keep chekin this thread plz , thanks for the info!, if its a new stock head would it work good? or it have to be somthing special or what other options i got?, thanks, sorry im ramblin on
