Stage 2, Stage 3 clutches. How big are the differences?
Well, I'm looking for a new clutch, and was just curious about the different stages there are.
<FONT SIZE="4">I want a pretty sporty feel, but want it to last as long as possible.</FONT>
In the cheaper brands, like XTD, I've been reading in there 'descriptions' on Ebay about what the clutch was designed to do.
Stage 2 clutch-
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by XTD »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">This XTD Stage 2 clutch kit is Works Great for Just Stock and Mildly Modified civic. Every XTD Sports clutch kit Designed for Street (Daily driving) so It won't make you difficulty on Everyday Normal driving.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Stage 3-
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by XTD »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">XTD "MIBA" Stage 3 Copper Ceramic Disc is designed for Ultra Racing Purpose and it Graps Much Harder Than Carbontic or Kevlar Disc also It will Increased Acceleration. However,It designed also Smooth Engagement and improved durability for Street so It won't make you difficulty on Daily Driving.</TD></TR></TABLE>
So in each description is says is O.K. for Daily driving...
Thus, my questions for this thread are
<FONT SIZE="3">1. Should I just go with a "Stage 2" clutch, since I won't be doing any rough drag racing, but want a sporty feel?</FONT>
<FONT SIZE="3">2. Whats the best cheap brand you can think of?</FONT>
Thanks in advance on the imput, and hopefully no flames about the cheapo brand!
