Default squeeking slave cylinder

i just replaced my MC and SC and bled the lines also put the urea(?) grease on the end of the slave cylinder, but everytime i push the clutch down there is a loud squeek from the slave cylinder. its brand new because the old one started making the same noise as soon as i changed the master cylinder. anyone know why it is making this noise. thanks

Did you also put grease in the boot on the slave cylinder?

It could also be the pivot on the fork inside the tranny case (not to mix it up with the ball pivot thing of the slave cylinder). You can try pulling the boot off and spraying the fork with some lithium grease... just be careful not to get it all over the clutch assembly.

Your problem is probably what Tilt said-clutch fork pivot.

i did grease inside the slave boot. i pulled the boot off the release fork and am no sure where i need to spray the grease, on the main shaft that the fork slides on? also i can live with the noise, is this going to hurt anything if i just leave it?

It will be more of an annoyance than a problem that you need to worry about. The pivot can squeak for a loooong time before wear would become an issue.
