Default sputtering at low rpms...???

91 teg ls has about 130k miles and going. car sputters at low rpm on slow acceleration. what could it be? it has new plug wires, plugs, rotor, cap what can it be? on cold start the tack bounces up and down 3k to 1k 3k to 1k what gives??? i need help thanks

mine did that and it needed a valve adjustment but it could also be a vacuum leak or cooling problem

Did you check the wire connections on your igniter? Sometimes they get loose.

I had the same problem for 60,000 miles. Unfold the passenger floorboard, and look at the ECU's bubble to check if its throwing a code. The LED blinking sequence should tell you the code (i.e. if it blinks twice in a row ..breif pause, and then three times the code will be #23).
Mine was throwing more than 1 code. The main one I remember was
Code #43 - Fuel System, but the problem turned out to be my O2 Sensor Signal. It was grounding out, because of my voltmeter setup. ECU ran in closed loop between 2800 - 4000 rpm. After 4000 rpm the engine would run fine.
