Default HELP: installed new spark plug/wires and idles low once warm

so my first problem was my car idling rough at start up then once half warm would idle normally...also what came up on the first time it happened was a check engine light that gave me the code of "random missfire in cylinder #2" so i thought it was my spark plugs...so i changed them out along with my wires with NGKs...now it idles normal at start up but once i drive it for like 10 minutes when its fully warm, it starts to idle really low like if my car was about to die out...i didnt gap the spark plugs when i put them cause i heard they were pre gapped but measured all of them at around .040 each...what could the problem be?? i feel scared to push it at anytime because of it...

Does it drive normal when you're driving the car? Or does it feel like it's lacking power?

Check for water in the cap, that happens a lot when people power wash their cars. Might want to check the BLK/YEL + wire to your dizzy coil for rust, if this gets corrosion in it, it will have a mid to high load miss. (mid to high throttle)

Try adjusting your idle screw on the throttle body.

.040 seems a little big to me. However I don't know what your car is. I have to close the gap on mine usually.

Check the old plug's gap or use the spec that should be on the hood of the car.

Also check if you got some colder plugs or warmer. Might effect the idle a bit too.
