Default it sputtered at 6500

this morning i was on my way home and my b16a odb0 pr3 ecu sputtered at WOT at 6500. i backed off, shifted and when i got back on it, it did the same in second. any ideas? couldnt quite tell if it was running on 3 momentarily or what. just wondering if someone knew right off the top of their head what it might be. thanks

ok. so now at anything less than 1/8 throttle its sputtering. pulled the plugs and they all look good. tiny bit of oil but im thinking thats just from the valve seals. why would it sputter at anythign less than 1/8th throttle? i thought it fuel fouled a plug or 2 but its not that.

anyone have any ideas? sorry i cant answer ims. anything less than 1/8th throttle it feels liek its not running on 4. smells like fuel a little bit too. its especially bad when its at full operating temp. plugs arent fouled. brand new ngk-r. partial throttle vacuum problem? is there such a thing on these motors? tps issue? also...im getting a lot more back firing than before i was having this problem

it could be alot of things.. if your throwing code 23 maybe your sensor is out. im not sure if that would cause your symptoms but maybe... also maybe o2 sensor or something... if your timing is off for some reason (jumped teeth?) then the car may be trying to correct it by retarding/advancing your timing. check your timing.
